Club+Resort Business 2022 Rankings
In 2022, Gleneagles earned the prestigious Club+Resort Business “Top Ranked” distinction for three categories: Fitness and Wellness, Culinary Experiences, and Racquet facilities. Club+Resort Business recognizes private club and resorts across America that highlight the investments these clubs have made in their facilities and the commitment to the member experience. All categories are selected and ranked by an independent panel of judges.
The Healthy Lifestyle Center came in at #13 on the 2022 Top Ranked Fitness and Wellness Centers list. This is an improvement to the #14 ranking in 2021. Gleneagles Country Club is unique in its ability to retain a small community feel with a country club attitude. Years prior to building the 15,000 square foot state-of-the-art Healthy Lifestyle Center, Gleneagles created a Healthy Lifestyle initiative to provide educational programs and opportunities for our members to embark on a beneficial and rewarding journey of enhanced health and fitness.
The ambiance and environment created in the new Healthy Lifestyle Center is a continuation of that cultural awareness. We further our mission with a variety of strategies, including our Healthy Life newsletter, nutrition counseling, personal training, physical therapy, and a relaxing and stress-free spa environment. To make sure we reach all members of the Gleneagles Community, our Partner Strong Program identifies and helps those who may benefit from more guidance toward developing a healthy lifestyle.
“To be ranked among the top 15 fitness and wellness experiences in private clubs in the nation for two consecutive years is a tremendous accomplishment for our members and our team,” remarks Karen Mikus, Director of Healthy Lifestyle.
The Tennis and Pickleball Center came in at #16 on the 2022 Top Ranked Racquet Facilities list. In addition to our world-class tennis and pickleball facilities, including the eight new Pickleball courts that opened in early November 2022, we are extremely proud of our dynamic tennis and pickleball calendar of events, featuring over 100 events per year, including social mixers, tournaments, exhibitions, lectures and inter-club league play.
The club also came in at #50 on the 2022 Top Ranked Culinary Experiences list. From the moment that our members and guests arrive, it is our goal to engage all their senses through exceptional food and drink, attentive and gracious service, and an atmosphere that creates memorable moments with neighbors, family, and friends.
Club+Resort Business is one of the leading industry publications in the hospitality industry. Each time the club earned a Top Ranked award, the magazine ran a full page write up on the club and included our information on their list of Top Ranked clubs on their website. Copies of the write ups and rankings are available in the Concierge Office and included in all prospective member packets.
Being ranked among the top 50 country clubs in the nation for our Health and Wellness, Racquet and Culinary should make all of us very proud!
