The perfect place to stop after 18 holes or volleying the tennis ball around, the Glen Bar is a fun and casual environment to celebrate a hole in one or watch your favorite football team play on Sundays. With a great selection of bottled and draft beers, a curated wine list and a complete liquor selection, the Glen is the go-to place to enjoy a cold brew or a refreshing cocktail.

Our skilled mixologists craft a variety of recipes including a Vesper martini, a Woodford Reserve old fashioned and the Diva, a Gleneagles Member favorite. The Legends Lounge can be intimate or social and the ideal place to meet for light hors d’oeuvres, a welcome drink or a reluctant farewell.

Meet the Chefs

Regan Samaniego Gleneagles
Regan Samaniego
Director of Food and Beverage

Regan started his career at Gleneagles in 2004 and worked in a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in the Food and Beverage department. In 2012, he accepted an opportunity at a nearby country club to advance his career. In 2014, he returned to Gleneagles as the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage after a successful run as Food and Beverage Manager at Frenchman’s Reserve Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens. Regan is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University. Regan oversees the entire Food and Beverage operation, including the service team, culinary staff, menu development, purchasing operations, catering, and private events. Regan works very closely with Assistant General Manager, Nick Jolly and Executive Chef, Chris Reichart in order to create best-in-class cuisine and service in the three restaurants and lounges at Gleneagles Country Club.

Executive Chef

Chris joined the Gleneagles team in January 2019 as Executive Sous Chef and was promoted to Executive Chef in July 2020. Prior to joining Gleneagles, Chris worked for several years at Rapoport’s Restaurant group as Director of Restaurants. Prior to being promoted to that position, Chris was the Executive Sous Chef at Burt and Max’s in the Delray Marketplace. Chris also worked as the Executive Chef at Hudson at Waterway East in Delray Beach, and Executive Sous Chef at JB’s on the Beach in Deerfield Beach. Before moving to Florida, Chris lived in Maryland where he worked as Sous Chef at The Oceanaire Seafood Room and at Chartwell Country Club where he served as Executive Sous Chef/Acting Executive Chef for almost five years. Chris is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute.

Executive Sous Chef

Chef Greene was born and raised in Orange, New Jersey. He has been married 25 years with two grown children. Chef Kelly, as he is affectionately known, has had a long and illustrious career in the food industry. He started by working for the Restaurant Development Group in Houston, Texas before moving to Florida where he went to work for The Club Corporation of America at the Tower Club in Ft. Lauderdale for the next five years and completed his internship. During the following years, Chef Kelly excelled in his craft and worked at such prestigious restaurants as the Boca Resort and Hotel, The Carolina Club, Hyatt’s Pier 66 where he became an award-winning chef. Always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow in his profession, Chef Kelly moved on the Lauderdale Yacht Club, and then Park Summit by Five Star. Chef Kelly brings his passion for fitness and healthy living through nutrition and exercise to Gleneagles!

Our Club is an exclusive private community located on over 400 lush, tropical acres in the heart of Delray Beach. Our clubhouse is tastefully furnished and decorated to impress your guests and make your event a day to remember. Our staff strives to make your event not only unforgettable, but also to assist you in any way possible to allow you to relish every moment.
